2 Data Processing General Principles

2.1 Use of our website

During each access to our website, our system automatically collects data from the IT  system of the accessing computer. During the purely informational use of the website, we only collect data transmitted by your browser to our server. The following data is collected:

 

  • IP address
  • Information on the type of browser and version used
  • User operating system
  • Date and time of access
  • Amount of data transferred
  • Websites from which the user’s system accesses our website
  • Websites that are visited by the user’s system via our website

The data is stored in the log files of our system. The information that does not get affected is the user’s IP address or other user-identifying data. No storage of such data together with other user personal information takes place.

The legal basis for the processing of such data is the overriding legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(f) of the GDPR (EU Reg. 679/2016).

2.2 Contact Form, Enquiry Form and Whitepaper Download Form

With our contact form, enquiry form and whitepaper download form, you can send us a request. In order for us to get back to you, we require certain personal data. Further personal data can be provided voluntarily. Your data will be transmitted to us by email from our service provider and will be deleted immediately after your request has been closed, unless there are legal retention obligations. The data will not be used for other purposes nor will they be disclosed to third parties.

The legal basis for this data processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6, para. 1(1)(a) of the EU GDPR.

3 Data recipients

3.1 Service Providers

Service providers are used for the provision of the website.

  • Digital Ocean

These service providers were carefully selected on the basis of the data protection measures taken. Data processing contracts complying with Art. 28 of the EU GDPR were stipulated.

3.2 Other Communications

At FFIND it is neither planned nor intended to transfer your personal data to a third country or international organisation.

4 Data Retention Duration

Your personal data will be stored for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or to comply with legal or contractual storage obligations.

5 Automated decision-making processes on an individual basis (including profiling)

FFIND does not use automated processing, including profiling, to make decisions regarding the establishment and execution of a contractual relationship (Art. 22 of the EU GDPR). In the event that such processes are required in specific cases, we will inform you separately, if required by law.

6 Your data protection rights

Each person affected by data processing has the right:

  • To obtain information according to Art. 15 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • To rectification according to Art. 16 of the GDPR
  • To cancellation according to Art. 17 of the GDPR
  • To processing limitation according to Art. 18 of the GDPR
  • To data portability according to Art. 20 of the GDPR.

Furthermore, according to Art. 77 of the GDPR, you have the right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

In general, according to Article 21 of the GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by FFIND if necessary in order to pursue legitimate interests.

If you have given your consent to the processing of your personal data, you have the right, under Article 7(3) of the GDPR, to withdraw your consent at any time in the future. Consent withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the withdrawal.

8 Liability for Weblinks

Our website contains hyperlinks to external third-party websites over which we have no influence. These are third-party offers where we do not explicitly take ownership of the contents. The provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the contents of the linked sites. The linked sites were checked for possible legal violations at the time of linking. At the time of linking, no illegal content was found. We regularly check the contents of linked websites for legal violations. In the event that we become aware of legal violations, we will remove these links immediately.
